In the course of developing guidelines, plans, programs and national measures, public policy-makers and managers follow two macro approaches: locally customized ideas based on scientific-administration endeavor and international trend for the purpose of enhancing competitive strategies whereby national administration education is carried out. To this end, this study attempted to explore any variables affecting this trend. In order to test a model based on which national administration education is theorized and elaborated. As a mixed-approach research, the study was done both qualitatively and quantitatively. Data were collected trough a structured interview with the pertinent authorities and then “common themes” were identified and ultimately converted into a model. Quantitatively, the model was tested, the findings revealed that Iranian policy-makers at public administration sector resort to gain education from foreign sources in the light of the presenters exercised on them. Elaborating the status quo of Iranian administration system in the framework of similar models can contribute a lot to theorizing to salve the prospective problems.

National security and development of passive defense are among the major objectives focused in the Iranian Fourth Development plan, which plays a crucial role in site-selection for military active an passive defense identified as among the stages of decision-making and planning by military commanders in an area. The matter is so crucial that it can affect the security, sources of threat and combat power of the forces. Investigating land slope, pedology, geology, geomorphology and drainage network in such a planning, military geomorphology intervenes in this process. To this end, this study aimed at site-selection in military defense areas and exploration of potentialities in order to generalize the findings into other dry lands given the limitations and challenges ahead. As a field study in design, the study was conducted based on experimental data, pictures obtained from Aster and Google Earth satellite sources, 1:50000 topography maps, geology and 1:250000 pedology-along with employing zoning model and Arc/GIS software. The findings revealed feasibility of the site-selection through studying the geo-morphological parameters, employing tactical and technical strategies in low lands and semi-high areas.

Successful implementation of knowledge management (KM) in the era of knowing requires certain structural, cultural, technological and human requirements among which this study tried to address the technological dimension. Randomly selected sample participants from Shahid Sattari Air Force University responded a questionnaire in descriptive-field study. The findings revealed statistically significant relationship between technological factors and KM, between the status quo of the variables and the desirable status and also various priority of the factors in affecting KM. The study entailed a number of implications as well.

Acknowledging the significance of communication in an organization, this study was an attempt to investigate and explain organizational culture as an effective varibale in the communicative performance of an organization. To this end, a comprehensive literature review was carried out, then middle managers from Iranian Air Force responded a questionnaire. The data were analyzed through pearson-product correlation and Freedman ordinal ranking scale. The results sustained two of the hypotheses indicating that group culture enjoyed the highest priority among the other variables.

A number of general factors affect successful implementation of Knowledge management, but each organization is characterized by a particular set of factors. Organizations are mainly concerned with identifying such factors facilitating their accomplishment in this trend. This study was an attempt to focus on aerospace organizations in terms of such factors through a comparative analysis with a number of foreign military organizations. As a mixed method in design, the study collected its data from 152 participants (i.e. manegers and experts) from the Iranian Aerospace organization based on random-sampling, who answered a questionnaire. Factor analysis results revealed seven factors including development of human resources, strategy and objective, information systems, knowledge evaluation and transfer, modeling, individual involvement, and cultural participation enjoyed the lightest loadings among the factors affecting KM. Results of the comparative analysis supported key roles for human , technology and structure as the most effective parameters.

This study aimed at studying the relationship between three distinct variables including dutifulness, self-esteem, discipline and dimensions of military education (i.e. religiousness, organizational integrity and trust). As an applied research in purpose and field study in design and methodology, the study involved participation of 269 cadets selected based on stratified random sampling who attempted a questionnaire. The data were analyzed through pearson-product correlation and multi-variable linear regression techniques. The results revealed statistically significant correlation among discipline, self-esteem and dutifulness on one hand and religiousness, organizational integrity and trust on the other
