The current research aims to explain and identify the military drivers and effective factors in the defense diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This applied research, with a descriptive-exploratory and mixed-methods approach, utilized a targeted statistical population and a census sampling method. Initially, through a comprehensive literature review and preliminary expert opinions from the defense and foreign policy fields, 68 potential drivers influencing defense diplomacy were identified. In the next stage, based on expert consensus and strategic importance, this number was reduced to 24 key drivers. Subsequently, using an interaction matrix, the mutual influence and susceptibility of these 24 drivers were precisely evaluated by experts. The results indicate that Iran's defense diplomacy is influenced by complex and numerous factors. Among these, nuclear capability, military arms exports, geopolitical competition, and joint military exercises with other countries were identified as the most important influential factors. These findings suggest that the defense diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in addition to military considerations, is significantly affected by political and international economic developments. These factors mutually influence each other, increasing the complexity of defense diplomacy. در دنیای پرچالش امروز، درک عمیق از عوامل مؤثر بر دیپلماسی دفاعی کشورها، به‌ویژه کشوری با جایگاه راهبردی مانند ایران در خاورمیانه، بسیار حیاتی است. پژوهش حاضر باهدف تبیین و شناسایی پیشران‌های نظامی و عوامل مؤثر بر دیپلماسی دفاعی جمهوری اسلامی ایران انجام‌شده است. این تحقیق، با ماهیت کاربردی و رویکرد توصیفی-اکتشافی و ترکیبی، جامعه آماری هدفمند و نمونه‌گیری تمام‌شماری را به کار گرفته است. ابتدا، با بررسی ادبیات و نظر کارشناسان حوزه دفاع و سیاست خارجی، 68 پیشران بالقوه مؤثر بر دیپلماسی دفاعی شناسایی شد. در مرحله بعد، بر اساس توافق خبرگان و اهمیت راهبردی، این تعداد به 24 پیشران کلیدی کاهش یافت. سپس، با استفاده از ماتریس اثرات متقابل، تأثیرگذاری و تأثیرپذیری این 24 پیشران توسط خبرگان به‌دقت ارزیابی شد. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که دیپلماسی دفاعی ایران تحت تأثیر عوامل پیچیده‌ای است. در این میان، توان هسته‌ای، صادرات تسلیحات نظامی، رقابت ژئوپلیتیکی و رزمایش مشترک با دیگر کشورها به‌عنوان مهم‌ترین عوامل مؤثر شناسایی شدند. این یافته‌ها حاکی از آن است که دیپلماسی دفاعی جمهوری اسلامی ایران، علاوه بر ملاحظات نظامی، به‌شدت تحت تأثیر تحولات سیاسی و اقتصاد بین‌المللی نیز قرار دارد. این عوامل به‌طور متقابل بر یکدیگر اثر گذاشته و پیچیدگی دیپلماسی دفاعی را افزایش می‌دهند. https://jmm.iranjournals.ir/article_732094_0e1b788f07d441674915c548a05430b9.pdf
