One of the measures that can prevent damage to the country is to evaluate the state of the country's military climate. Therefore, in this research, the temporal and spatial distribution of the country's military climate was investigated using the Military Climate Index and gis. For this purpose, the statistics of various meteorological parameters of 55 synoptic stations with appropriate distribution throughout the country during the 30-year statistical period (1992-2021) were used. The results of the time distribution showed that the months of OCT, Apr and Mars are the most suitable months for carrying out military activities in the country. Inappropriate months for carrying out military activities based on the percentage of the country's area are July, June, August and December respectively. Among the seasons, the most unsuitable season for conducting military operations is the summer season and then the early winter season, which showed the most unfavorable descriptive values, therefore, the most suitable season is spring and autumn, and the most suitable months are October and April. The spatial distribution of changes in the MCI index also showed that the most unfavourability in most days of the year is related to the southeast, south and then north and northwest regions of the country. In terms of stations, the highest MCI coefficients or the highest level of unpleasantness are related to Saqez, Jask, Chabahar and Rasht stations. با توجه به موقعیت ژئوپلیتکی ایران در منطقه خاورمیانه و حضور مداوم تهدیدات خارجی، تمهیدات لازم در حفظ و حراست از تمامیت ارضی کشور یک ضرورت است. یکی از اقداماتی که می‌تواند مانع بروز آسیب‌ به کشور شود ارزیابی وضعیت اقلیم نظامی کشور است. لذا در این پژوهش به بررسی توزیع زمانی و مکانی اقلیم نظامی کشور با استفاده از شاخص اقلیم نظامی (MCI) و سیستم اطلاعات جغرافیایی پرداخته شد. بدین منظور از آمار پارامترهای مختلف هواشناسی 55 ایستگاه همدید با توزیع مناسب در سطح کشور در طول دوره آماری 30 ساله (2021 -1992) بهره گرفته شد. نتایج حاصل از توزیع زمانی نشان داد که به ترتیب ماه‌های مهر، فروردین و اسفند با بیشترین مطلوبیت در پهنه کشور مناسب ترین ماه جهت انجام فعالیت‌های نظامی در کشور است. ماه‌های نامناسب جهت انجام فعالیت‌های نظامی بر اساس درصد مساحت کشور به ترتیب ماه‌های تیر، خرداد، مرداد و دی می باشد. در بین فصول نامناسب ترین فصل جهت انجام عملیات نظامی فصل تابستان و سپس اوایل فصل زمستان است که بیشترین ارزش های توصیفی نامطلوبی را نشان داد، ، لذا مناسب ترین فصل، بهار و پاییز و مناسب ترین ماه‌ها، مهر و فروردین می‌باشد. توزیع مکانی تغییرات شاخص MCI نیز نشان داد که بیشترین نامطلوبیت‌ها در بیشتر ایام سال مربوط به نواحی جنوب شرقی، جنوبی و سپس شمالی و شمال غربی کشور است. از نظر ایستگاهی نیز بالاترین ضرایب MCI یا بیشترین میزان ناخوشایندی مربوط به ایستگاه‌های سقز، جاسک، چابهار و رشت است. https://jmm.iranjournals.ir/article_735682_ad0e578d5258b9f3a220dcf034f861f2.pdf
