Explaining the Key Scientific and Technological Factors Affecting Iran's Defense Poweron the Horizon 1410

Abstract
The dramatic growth of science and technology in recent decades has led to changes in various fields. Military industries and forces have not been unaffected by this growth, and today we are witnessing a huge change in military technologies. The armies that are not able to move in sync with the growth of science and technology, they will have to endure the defeat of armies equipped with up-to-date technology. In Iran, the need to identify and apply the scientific and technological effective factors and components on the country's defense power will become more apparent, by considering the numerous threats and the importance of defense power in reducing the leading threats. So, in this study, in order to explain the key scientific and technological factors affecting Iran's defense power on the horizon of 1410, 93 factors were identified by studying the previous scientific documents and records and using the opinions of 50 experts. In the second step, through an expert panel, similar factors were integrated with each other and 38 factors were identified. Then, identified factors were ranked and their values were determined based on the opinion of experts, and 25 important and effective factors were defined. Finally, 11 and 5 factors as key scientific and technological factors affecting Iran's defense power were identified via Micmac futures research software and application of cross matrix analysis method.
