Lessons learned are one of the practical tools for optimizing the achievements of knowledge management, which can be used to avoid wasting time and costs, and these tools lead to the development of the project management lessons learned system. Therefore, the main goal of this research is to provide a model for compiling knowledge lessons by determining organizational requirements in project-oriented organizations. The statistical population in this research is 45 experts, managers and researchers in the field of knowledge management in project-oriented organizations. The current research is applied in terms of purpose and qualitative/quantitative in terms of data collection method. Information collection in the theoretical literature section of the research was done through library studies, and in the qualitative section, exploratory interviews were used and in the quantitative section, questionnaires were used. The results of the research show that the model of requirements for the implementation of the lessons learned process in project-oriented organizations includes; The 5 main components are organizational leadership, employee culture, new technologies, employee learning, and the formed system has 53 explanatory items for the above five components. Also, the model of developing the process of knowledge lessons learned in project-oriented organizations includes the approaches of identifying and choosing the appropriate experts, holding discussion meetings, arguing the results, localizing knowledge and providing suggestions for their implementation
