Media war is a kind of soft war with a psychological approach, which is planned and implemented in a process and gradually through the mental manipulation of the people of the target country in the direction of their cultural and social collapse; The current research was carried out with a sociological approach and with the aim of identifying the areas and components of facing the media war and with the grounded theory method. For this purpose, through interviews with 17 media and communication professors and members of the Supreme Virtual Council of the country, the areas and components of media war have been identified with a cultural and social approach. The results show that the media war is actually a type of hybrid war that uses psychological and sociological techniques in the cultural and psychological fields of the target society, and therefore, in facing this war, a cultural and social approach must be taken. He worked actively in four fields of policy, hardware and software, culture and awareness and education. An audience-centered approach to ensure the security of the audience at the individual level and the security of the society at the national level in the enemy's media war.
