Abstract
The aim of this article is to examine the role of family culture in the management of commanders at Imam Ali (AS) Military Academy. By analyzing the relationship between family values and the academic and social performance of commanders, it seeks to demonstrate how this culture can contribute to improving educational and managerial processes in military academies. This research was conducted using a mixed-methods approach with qualitative and quantitative dimensions. In the qualitative section, experts provided personal interpretations of their real experiences during interviews, and using grounded theory and coding methods, the relevant indicators were identified. Subsequently, the obtained results were designed in the form of a questionnaire, collected, and path analyses were conducted. The statistical population for the quantitative section included 82 individuals, including deputies, senior managers, battalion commanders, and company commanders, among whom 68 questionnaires with a 5-point Likert scale were completed and analyzed using Smart PLS software. The findings of the research indicate that researchers identified the role of the prevailing family culture in the management of commanders at Imam Ali (AS) Military Academy through exploratory interviews, and five components affecting the management of commanders were identified: the formation of values and attitudes, behavior and performance, emotional and psychological support, management of tensions and challenges, and the creation of a sense of belonging and identity. These results can help improve managerial and educational processes in military academies.
