در چشم انداز رقابتی و به سرعت در حال تحول امروز، سازمانها نیاز به نوآوری و سازگاری دائمی برای ماندن در این عرصه دارند. یکی از راههای قدرتمند برای دستیابی به این هدف، پرورش فرهنگ تعالی پژوهشی در سازمان است؛ بنابراین هدف پژوهش حاضر ارتقای فرهنگ سازمانی پژوهش محور با استفاده از رویکرد اکتشافی در دانشگاه افسری امام علی در سال 1402 بود. پژوهش حاضر با توجه به هدف و موضوع پژوهش، کاربردی و از لحاظ زمان مقطعی و در زمره ی مطالعات میدانی از نوع اکتشافی بود. جامعه آماری پژوهش کلیه پرسنل (دانشجویان، اساتید و کارمندان بخش اداری) دانشگاه افسری امام علی (ع) در پاییز سال 1402 نفر بودند (2000 نفر) که با استفاده از نمونه گیری تصادفی از نوع طبقهای و جدول مورگان تعداد 323 نفر به عنوان نمونه آماری انتخاب شدند. برای جمع آوری دادهها از پرسشنامه محقق ساخته استفاده شد. برای روایی محتوایی پرسشنامه از نظرات اساتید در رشته علوم تربیتی و همچنین تحلیل عاملی تاییدی استفاده شد و پایی پرسشنامه با استفاده از ضریب آلفای کرونباخ 95/0 به دست آمد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل دادهها از روش تحلیل عاملی اکتشافی و تاییدی و مدل معادلات ساختاری با استفاده از نرم افزارهای SPSS28 و PLS3 استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد که برای ارتقای فرهنگ پژوهش محور دانشگاه افسری امام علی (ع) شش عامل به شرح زیر شناسایی شده است: 1. برگزاری برنامهها و دورههای آموزشی 2. ارتقاء دسترسی به منابع و اطلاعات 3. ایجاد امکانات مناسب 4. ایجاد شورایی از افراد متخصص برای هدایت و حمایت پژوهشها 5. افزایش اهمیت و ارزش دادن به پژوهش و 6. حمایت و دادن انگیزه به پژوهشگران.
